ITI’s workers had an outstanding participation. They, along with their machine equipment, played a leading role in the organization and distribution of aid conducted by the city of Iquique for the victims of Southern Chile. Iquique’s Mayor, Myrta Dubost, placed great emphasis on the cooperation provided by this company.
The workers role was very essential it was in both, the transfer of one of the equipment from the port to the storage warehouse, and the organization and leadership in the proper consolidation of containers and reefer trailers.
At times when solidarity is needed ITI has always been to bring aid to the needy, this time was for our southern brethren.
Workers are also conducting a campaign to send aid to their colleagues at San Vicente International Terminal, one of the most affected areas by the catastrophe.
Finally, to let our grateful colleagues in the south know that despite the distance, we are with them.
