They are all services that the Terminal provides, which are not applied to maximum rates and that ITI performs according to the Terminal users or the representative requirements.
This service include the following operations:
- Unloading of the container in Stuffing zone.
- Unloading of cargo for stuffing, from client’s truck and direct stuffing.
- Documentation required for the process.
- Stuffing.
- Loading and transporting to the vessel pre-stacking in ITI.
This service includes the following operations:
- Unloading in unstuffing zone of the full container.
- Unstuffing and documentation required for the process.
- Loading of cargo at the client’s truck platform or in ITI warehouse.
- Loading of the empty container on a truck to be delivered where it belongs.
Dock crane used to transfer cargo under 30 tons.
This crane service is provided to transfer cargo not related to movements included in the Services Applied to Maximum Rates of cargo Transference performed by the Terminal.
This service may be required by the shipowner, consignor shipper and the forwarder, or the respective representatives, as well as any other client verified at the Terminal.
The rate will be applied per clock hour pro rata, starting since the crane is placed and ready to use in front of the warehouse where the cargo transference will take place, and will be finished when the crane performs its last movement before starting the removal procedures to the parking area.
This service will charge per clock hour with an hour as minimum.
This rate will be applied to all packages defined as cargo under 30 tons.
The service includes:
Work coordination and planning, supervision personnel, use of land crane and its operator.
Use of dock crane for cargo transference with weight over or equal to 30 tons, and under 60 tons.
It is the service that transfers cargo not related to movements included in Services Applied to Maximum Rates of Cargo Transference performed by the Terminal.
This service may be required by the shipowner, the consignor shipper, and the forwarder, or the respective representatives, as well as any other client verified at the Terminal.
The rate will be applied per clock hour pro rata, starting since the crane is placed and ready to use in front of the warehouse where the cargo transference will take place, and will be finished when the crane performs its last movement before starting the removal procedures to the parking area.

The rate will be applied per clock hour pro rata, starting since the crane is placed and ready to use in front of the warehouse where the cargo transference will take place, and will be finished when the crane performs its last movement before starting the removal procedures to the parking area.
This service will be charged per clock hour with an hour as minimum.
This rate will be applied to all packages defined as cargo over or equal to 60 tons, and under 100 tons.
The service includes:
Work coordination and planning, supervision personnel, use of land crane and its operator
It is operational activities and additional documentation required for containers or cargo after regular terms agreed for reception in final vessel stacking. Regular time is defined as three days (72 hours) from 8am to 10pm, finishing 24 hours before vessel’s departure.
Only the ship operator or shipowner may authorize cargo entry after the deadline.
The service will be charged per container or per tons, if it is split cargo or cars.
The service includes:
Appoint and provide supervision personnel, port personnel and equipment required to operate in special schedules, both in equipments handling and in computerized systems, cargo checking and rehandling of cargo inside the Terminal, in order to get the planned shipping sequence.
Plug/Unplug and Monitoring.
This service is provided to all reefer containers to be shipped, unloaded, and/or comes from or goes to public terminal, and/or are in transit around the terminal, which need controlled environments at special temperatures and should be plugged or unplugged to power supply that provides electric power and also monitoring.
The service includes:
Appoint and provide supervision personnel and monitoring, reefer unit handling when it is received in the Terminal, monitoring when the container is in the Terminal, one (1) connection when the unit arrives from the vessel, from the forwarder or from another terminal; one (1) disconnection at the end of the unit permanence at the terminal, handling of the unit loaded on the truck that will carry it to the vessel, and one (1) connection or disconnection depending on if it will be loaded to the vessel or unloaded from it, and documentation of temperature records according to the procedures of each client.
The service will be charged per each container and per each shift that the container is plugged at ITI facilities.
Power Supply To Reefer Containers
This service is provided to all reefer containers that require shipping, unloading and/or coming from or go to the public terminal, and/or are in transit around the Terminal, which require controlled environments at special temperatures and should be plugged to power supply that provides electric power.
The rate will be charged per each calendar day that the container stays in the Terminal.
The service includes:
Appoint and provide supervision personnel, power consumption and recording of plugged days, according to industry procedures and to each client.
Pre-Cooling Of Reefer Containers
This service is provided to all reefer containers that pass through the Terminal and that require preparation and pre-cooling to receive cargo which needs controlled environments or particular temperatures.
The service is charged per each container that requires this operation.
The service includes:
Appoint and provide supervision personnel and refrigeration technician, temperature levels control, programming different levels of temperature required by the clients and recording of temperatures according to the standard industrial procedures.
Assembly And Disassembly Of Gen-Set
It is the service provided to all reefer containers that pass through the Terminal and require Gen-Set (cooling) assembling or disassembling.
The value will be billed each time a Gen-Set is installed or uninstalled to a container.
The service includes:
Appoint and provide supervision personnel, forklift crane and staff who perform Gen-Set assembling or disassembling to the container.
It is to provide a risk prevention specialist; the service is not included in basic transferences services. His main function is to make sure that all security rules related to vessels docking in the terminal and/or related activities, terminal facilities workers, transferred and/or handled cargo and equipments/maneuvering used, are accomplished.
The risk prevention specialist may be required to ITI S.A. by the consignee shipper, shipowner or its representatives, Customs services or another authority, or any client that uses the terminal services.
The service includes:
Appoint and provide a risk preventionist per vessel.
Aforo or Cargo Recognition in Containers
This service includes all activities required to perform in containers that transit through the terminal, which for commercial reasons or customs control require rehandling for counting, inspection or recognition.
This service is provided only if the shipowner or its representative, the consignee shipper, the forwarder agent, the BL issuing carrier or any other user responsible for the unit requires it.
The service includes:
Provide the yard control personnel, the supervision and recognition personnel, the forklift crane to move the cargo, recorders, and documentation and coordination with Customs or Client.
This service does NOT include respective unit handling or rehandling.
Way of billing:
The rate is applied per TEU.
Gauging or Recognition of Split cargo
It is defined as all activities needed to be performed to the split cargo that transits through the terminal, which for Customs controls, special requirements from shippers or consignee shipper, or any other client of the terminal requires rehandling for counting, inspection, recognition, etc.
The service includes:
Appoint and provide the supervision personnel, yard control, and recognition personnel, forklift cranes, documentation and coordination with Customs or Client.
Way of billing:
The service will be billed per each ton included in this service.
Gauging or Cargo Recognition in containers
It is defined as all activities needed to be performed to containers that transit through the terminal, which for Customs controls, special requirements from shippers or consignee shippers, or any other client of the terminal requires rehandling for counting, inspection and recognition of its cargo or the unit itself.
The service includes:
Appoint and provide supervision personnel, yard control, and recognition personnel, forklift cranes to move the cargo, documentation and coordination with Customs or Client.
Way of billing:
The service will be billed per TEU included in this service.
SAG Inspection for Cargo in Containers
It is defined as the work to be performed to containers that transit through the terminal and that for plant protection control, SAGE requires cargo inspection.
The service includes:
Appoint and provide supervision personnel, yard control and operation, forklift cranes to move the cargo, documentation and coordination with SAG and Client.
Way of billing:
The service will be billed per TEU included in this service.
It is applied to all storage rates with nomenclature TAR 301 to TAR 310 from terminal tariff rate list, and rates TAR 311, TAR 312, TAR 314, TAR 315, TAR 316 y TAR 317, applied to cargo from or to Bolivia.
It is the custody and conservation provided to the cargo that transits through the terminal, coming from or to a cabotage vessel, or international traffic vessel operated in the terminal, in the public port or in any other port.
Storage area will be assigned by ITI until it is delivered to the consignees, the vessel or rights representatives.
According to current legislation, from the moment the cargo is received physically and documentary and until it is delivered to the consignee or representative, the terminal should be responsible for cargo custody.
However, following issues have been defined in conjunction with the The Port Company Iquique (EPI Empresa Portuaria Iquique):
a) Free 48 hr storage in relation to vessel departure should be considered for all cargo unloaded through Iquique, which final destination is Arica.
b) One week of free storage should be considered for all transshipment and transit cargo unloaded through Iquique, and that later is shipped also through Iquique. The above mentioned is valid for all split cargo, full and/or empty containers.
The service includes:
Provide custody and warehouse personnel, security service staff, and cover or uncover the needed area inside the terminal to put the cargo safely, and reception and delivery documentation.
The following description is applicable for all rates of other services with nomenclature TAR 501 to TAR 523 from the tariff rate lists that are published in the section "General Rates".
