Bolivian cargo traffic through Empresa Portuaria Iquique, EPI, increased 42% over the same period last year, indicated yesterday the portal “I'm Chile”, from neighboring country.
Cruceño Impulse.According to the site, Bolivian cargo has helped Iquique to consolidate itself as a vital business platform for commercial and logistic chain of the Andina region and South American Midwest.
Also, the website says economic development departments of Santa Cruz and Cochabamba have been a key to generate greater dynamism in the region, which have increased operations in the Pacific ports. According to the EPI data, the Bolivian cargo traffic recorded so far reached 55,855 tons. In percentage terms this means a 42% with respect to last management / I’m Chile.
