Carriers In Meeting With Epi Executives

In an initiative which aim was to review different aspects of the business relationship, executives from the operational area of Empresa Portuaria Iquique, met on Friday, August 31 with representatives of carrier companies operating in the port.

In the activity, attended by EPI’s Operation Manager, Ernesto Piwonka and representatives from companies like Maro, Adimar, Carmen and Port Service, among others, there were issues related mainly to port logistics, as operating times, insurance and efficiency levels.

Attendees assessed instance as positive, since it reach consensus on a number of proposed topics and clarify different questions from wharfage companies "(meetings) are important for every company to achieve their goals and increase their productivity" said Marta Cortés, Maro agent in Iquique.
