ITI S.A. will sponsor Deportes Iquique until 2013

The Terminal’s logo will be printed on players shorts.

Strategic alliance between Deportes Iquique and Iquique Terminal Internacional S.A., will allow ITI to be one of the sponsor to accompany the campaign of "Celestes" in football first division for the remainder of this year 2012 and part of next year 2013.

The Terminal’s logo will be printed on each player short.

The agreement’s signature took place on Iquique Terminal Internacional S.A. facilities and in the presence of ITI’s General Manager, Fernando Ugarte and CDI’s President, Cesare Rossi, not to mention the professional players, including Ruben Taucare, who was one of the symbols of the club and who also was working for ITI in 2005 year, and defended the colors of the football team of the company.

To Mr. Fernando Ugarte, head of the Terminal, the decision to do this alliance and to be sponsor of CDI is to enhance "two poles of importance to us: the port, in its role as regional economic development lever and Deportes Iquique as we know is the heart of entertainment and at this time of good football," he commented.

Meanwhile, the helmsman of the "blue house", Cesare Rossi Oliva, explained that for the club is good to have the support of one of the leading companies in the region.

In accordance with the foregoing, Rossi said "I hope this strategic alliance will not be short-term and last for many years because most of the employees of ITI are fans of Iquique, so nothing better than their support to our institution "said Rossi. Meeting

Almost seven years have passed since Ruben Taucare quitted ITI, to continue his career as a professional footballer after the rise of the "dragons" to the first B.

Taucare keep the best memories of that 2005 year, although he stopped wearing CDI’s shirt to remain active as an athlete, playing for ITI that year.

The reference of Iquique says that this company has been characterized by supporting sport in the city.

Taucare also has the best memories of his transition as ITI worker "They gave me an opportunity, they opened the doors for me in 2005 year, but finally I chose to continue as a football player”.
