Iquique Port Company Delivers A Container To Lifeboat

In order to fill the pool, where is located the lifeboat’s house and for the purpose to move it to a better place, the Port of Iquique (EPI) delivered to the President of Lifeboat, Alfredo Ruiz Bon, a fitting container with electrical system, telephone and air conditioning located into the EPI, to continue doing their commendable work as rescuers, while performing the move of the lifeboat house to Huaje Patille area. Delivery was made by the administration and finances manager of the EPI, Juan Jose Ramirez and the business manager, Hector Mardones.

The container, of approximately U$ 8,000, was fitted according to the needs required by members of the lifeboat, who also received other smaller container to be used as a warehouse, in addition to sanitary as well as some parking for watercraft and where they can use a wharf in better condition than they had in the old house, the same that had damaged the access to it, besides the wear and tear of the years and the moth.

It is important to note that this work has environmental studies and the approval of environmental authorities and it will be made from EPI funds and some loans that were needed to manage the implementation of this filling.
