Iti’s Staff Help Kindergarten In Iquique

A new look has from today Lobito Marino Kindergarten after beauty and repair works performed by Iquique Terminal Internacional S.A.’ workers in this establishment, located in the central east area of Iquique city.

Voluntary work is framed within a medium-term agreement which seeks to link the company to the community through ongoing cooperation with this kindergarten, located in the central eastern part of our city and which has a high degree of vulnerability and has been the subject of numerous robberies, affecting the school community, and whose parents are low income.

Company’ staff, using his free time doing works, enjoyed painting, doing plumbing repairs, welding and others works getting significantly improve to the facilities.

The director of the establishment, Francisca Garcia, emphasized the initiative, noting that beyond financial aid as part of the agreement, what is important is the commitment of ITI’s Staff with children.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline Suarez, from human resources department of the company, emphasized the enthusiasm of workers to help the community in their spare time. She added that these activities will be further developed during the year.
