Maritime Authority Warned Vessels For Port Closing

Sub Lieutentant Lt; Gonzalo Jimenez Briones, of the Maritime Authority of Iquique reported yesterday " remains condition of closed port sites No. 1,2,3 and terminals for all types of vessels and boats due to swell, Berth maneuvers of larger ships were suspended at port facilities, terminals, the departure out of Bay for vessels under 25 TRG and all types of diving tasks were suspended too ".

Special vesselss and fishing boats should take security measures that allow secure anchoring of vessels and to react promptly to any emergency situations.
