Overland Connectivity

The Port of Iquique is connected by roads to Bolivia, and through this country to some Mediterranean areas from Brazil and Paraguay. Moreover through the International Road it is connected to the Argentinean Northwest and to Peru at the North.

Maritime Connectivity

Main Shipping Companies operates at the Port of Iquique. This will be increased due to the additional expansion of the site 4, which will be finished in 2009.

The above will become the Port of Iquique more reliable to Shipping Companies to keep or increase its traffics through the ITI, which main destination is Asia.
